Annual Christmas lunch

On Thursday, we welcomed our clients and volunteers to our Annual Christmas lunch to celebrate the festive season all together. It was lovely to see so many familiar and new faces (some clients and volunteers hadn't come since Covid!) reunited.

Before the lunch, Jane, Anne and Cathy (ESOL tutors) had a special Christmas English class with their students. The students learnt the song "We wish you a Merry Christmas", which they then sang joyfully in front of all the guests.

We then all met on the second floor to enjoy a delicious meal prepared by our chef Natalie and Elissa. They had prepared Christmas puffs, chicken curry and chocolate brownies with raspberries. Everything was yummy and none was left! During lunch, our musician Momo animated the crowd by singing famous songs from Turkey, Iran and other countries. At the end of the event, we gave a Christmas goody bag containing chocolates, toiletries and a card, to each client. These had been prepare by students from the French Lycée.

Special thanks to:

- Natalie and Elissa for cooking the delicious meal

- Momo for the great music

-Alicia and Bijou for the very Christmassy decoration

It was a lovely event and we can't wait to be back in 2023!

The NDRC wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Wishing you all the best this holiday season! 🎄☃
