We are recruiting for the following three posts:

  • Advice Worker OISC Level 3Part-time: 4 days per week

2 days Outreach @ Women for Refugee Women + 2 days advising @ NDRC


At Notre Dame Refugee Centre (NDRC) the post-holder will contribute and be responsible for the provision of an effective and efficient Immigration Advice service for asylum seekers and refugees in conjunction with other advice workers. This may involve support around welfare benefits and accommodation issues.

At Women for Refugee Women (WRW) the post-holder will be responsible for the provision of an effective and efficient immigration service to women asylum seekers and refugees. Welfare support may also be required.


Salary: £19.55 per hour / £28,464.80 pa (pro rata)

Please note that, most of the women in WRW’s network are survivors of sexual violence and WRW is based in a women-only office building. This post is therefore restricted to women only as a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 paragraph 1, Equality Act 2010 and Sex Discrimination Act 1975, section 7.


  • Volunteer, Events & Communications CoordinatorPart-time: 4 days per week

The purpose of this post is to coordinate volunteers run events and activities and ensure that the dedicated team of 35 – 40 volunteers are able to contribute to the Notre Dame Refugee Centre services and functions. The post-holder will also lead on recruitment, training and providing support to volunteers. In terms of communication, the post-holder will aim to increase public understanding of the experiences of refugees and asylum seekers.


Salary: £16.00 per hour / £23,296 pa (pro rata)

  • AdministratorPart-time: 4 days per week

The purpose of this post is to provide an effective administrative support to enable the Notre Dame Refugee Centre to operate efficiently and cost effectively and to provide quality service to its clients.


Salary: £14 per hour / £20,384 pa (pro rata)
