Great success for beginner's English class
Since last September, the beginners’ English class has grown.
Students from a range of African and Middle Eastern countries now make up the average Monday morning attendance of 12-15. The class, taught by qualified teachers, has been developing language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing – with an emphasis on the practical daily use of English. Students are very motivated and are developing impressive levels of confidence in their use of the language. They work well together, are friendly and mutually-supportive. Further provision is available from colleagues on Mondays and Thursdays for students requiring one-to-one, small group and more advanced English.
