Our thanks to all and sundry who have sponsored us to the tune of £6500 and upwards.
It all went well and was a most pleasant walk.
We were there in numbers: young and old, volunteers and refugees and friends of both, including the youngest form the French lycée.
Yes, a pleasant walk it was from the “Royal Courts of Justice”, all along the embankments of the Thames, across the bridges and back to… a lovely pub where we were offered a drink, and then back home to rest our weary limbs !!! And on to next year !

Quelle belle promenade ce fut !
Nous étions nombreux: jeunes et vieux, bénévoles et réfugiés, des amis du centre, ainsi que des jeunes du lycée français.
OUI, une belle promenade, au départ des “Royal Courts of Justice”, le long des berges de la Tamise, sur les ponts et retour au ….Pub où on nous offrit une bière;
et ensuite vers la maison pour reposer nos pauvres jambes fatiguées et endolories !!
