Help to access eVisas

Notre Dame Refugee Centre has been awarded a grant by the Home Office to help vulnerable people who need support to access their eVisa. All Biometric Residence Permits (BRPs) will expire on 31st December 2024 and will be replaced with eVisas.

We will offer face-to-face appointments with an adviser for those who need help in accessing their eVisa. The appointments will commence from September 2024 and continue until August 2025. We will also be running one workshop each month from November where people can come and find out how they can access their eVisa themselves with support from one of our team. The workshop dates will be published on our website in due course.

If a client needs help to access an eVisa for one of the following reasons we may be able to help:

  • unable to speak or read English/limited English language skills (we can offer appointments in French or Spanish)
  • physical or mental disabilities
  • homeless/rough sleeping
  • victim of domestic violence/trafficking
  • no access to technology
  • other vulnerabilities

To make an appointment, please send an email to evisa@notredamerc.org.uk with your name and contact details (preferably including a phone number) and we will get in touch with you.

Appointments will normally be on Tuesdays or Wednesdays – we are not able to help with eVisas on drop-in days.
