WE DID IT! LONDON LEGAL WALK 2024
On 18th June, a team from Notre Dame Refugee Centre made up of staff, volunteers, trustees, clients and supporters walked 10K through London’s parks, taking in some of the most wonderful sights, as part of the London Legal Walk’s 20th Anniversary.
With over 18,000 walkers taking part, our team joined teams from law firms, chambers, judiciary, law schools, advice agencies and charities, including several refugee charities, to support free legal advice and access to justice for those who are most vulnerable in our society.
Every year, we participate in this event which is one of our main fundraisers in our annual calendar. Our fundraising page will remain open for the next few months and you can make a donation on our page here to help us reach our goal.

What is the London Legal Support Trust
London Legal Support Trust was started in 2003 to help with the issue of insufficient funding for those who needed to access legal advice. Since then, with the support of the legal profession, LLST has raised millions of pounds to support legal advice centres in London and the South East to improve access to justice.
Sadly, the amount of funding directed towards legal aid and local authorities has reduced drastically since LLST was founded. As a result, this has forced agencies to close and in the current climate, the number of free legal advice agencies has dropped considerably.
